Redacted Version of the January 18, 2017, Review Panel Final Report for South of Allston Reinforcement Project
On August 29, 2016, the Members and the Board of Directors, in separate meetings, authorized ColumbiaGrid to enter into and execute the Independent Review of South of Allston Functional Agreement (“Agreement”). Per the Agreement, ColumbiaGrid facilitated an independent panel review of Bonneville Power Administration’s (“Bonneville”) South of Allston Reinforcement Project.
ColumbiaGrid assembled, coordinated, and facilitated the Independent Panel’s review and report, but was not itself a member of the Panel. The Panel was comprised of a diverse group of five independent experts from within and outside of the Northwest region.
On January 18, 2017, ColumbiaGrid delivered to Bonneville the Review Panel Final Report for South of Allston Reinforcement Project (“Report”). Pursuant to the Agreement, ColumbiaGrid was to post the Report for public access subject to Bonneville’s review of the Report for any confidential information or critical energy infrastructure information.
On August 9, 2017, Bonneville provided to ColumbiaGrid Bonneville’s approved redacted version of the January 18 Report.
“We are very pleased with, and appreciative of, the Panel’s dedication, insights, perspectives and professionalism regarding their review of this very complicated topic,” said Patrick Damiano, ColumbiaGrid’s president and CEO.
